He tried to call me about a week and a half ago, but I got busy and forgot to call him back...
I just remembered....
I bet he was going to let me get first shot at it before he posted...

I haven't been on all week because I've been busy and needed to get some sleep in the mornings...
a bunch of crap going on at work... I think I need to find another gig....
The new shift manager quit because he didn't like the way the top guy in our building does business/treats employees....
Word is that my supervisor who is pretty cool was offered a promotion and refused, so they demoted him... He stepped up and covered for the missing managers while they were finding new ones and training the one that just quit after less than 4 weeks... He did it without getting paid for that position, and this is how they treat him...
They still haven't told me what's going on and who my new supervisor is now...
Rumor is they are training new loaders at another location and plan to replace our crew.... Not a good idea to have all new loaders, **** can fall off trucks during shipping and injure/kill someone... stay away from any trucks hauling steel on the highway, you never know who loaded it or how much experience they have...

I mentioned it to the new person under him and she's a little hesitant about bringing it up with him saying he's too intense... (She just got promoted to this position...)
I don't feel that I have any job security... I feel that any day they will tell me not to come in any more....

They force the loaders to work OT, then they get burned out/fatigued and call in...
Not a good idea to fatigue people that load 200,000 - 300,000 lbs of steel per day, asking for trouble there...
And they think the loaders are the problem....
I just edited that post adding that they plan to fire our loading crew and replace them with new ones... Not a good idea as there can be some issues if the trucks aren't loaded properly and the load shifts/falls off..
I've seen our loaders do some things that I am not capable of with a fork lift... Some of them can do some unbelievable ****...
On a good note, my hand is feeling a little better lately... Not much stiffness and pain lately and the numbness is getting lower... 
I was getting concerned that it may not ever get back to normal, but if this keeps up, in time it may...

Was thinking about a toaster oven here in my shop, some days i dont want to leave,go to town to eat. If i go in the house and cook something, i will sit in the recliner and its game over....
LOL that is funny I am the same way! I just went to the shop to turn the heaters on freaking case of beer is frozen!

That's messed up.I told a member that a friend of mine was horsing around with Buddy and I told him to be careful and Buddy wrapped his two front legs around his two legs and pulled him to the ground, buddy was going to mate with with him so I had to tell Buddy no.

**** will change, new bosses will come and go..
Best to just be a busy worker bee and don't draw any attention till the wave passes. They won't fire you if they don't know you are there.

No, last time we got it out of the muck and onto concrete pavers. we did move it from the side yard to the drive infront of their barn.
