I have not used Ridgid stuff -wonder if made by someone else? I think they were relatively new on the market when I got my Milwaulkees. Hardly any selection back then and I was concerned they might not be around when I needed batteries... Looks like they made it, LOL
Good Morning
Dude you know to much for us. Have a question just ask Dave! Love ya man!Ridgid is not a Home Depot brand, they just sell them under a marketing agreement. Ridgid has been around for a long time and we used a lot of their tools back when I worked for DuPont in the mid-80s.
The Ridge Tool Company is an American manufacturing company that makes and distributes hand tools under the Ridgid brand name. The company was founded in 1923 in North Ridgeville Ohio In 1943, it relocated to its current location in Elyra Ohio, and in 1966, it became a wholly owned subsidiary of Emerson Electric.
Ridgid tools are targeted at the plumbing, pipe-fitting, construction, and HVAC trades. The brand is best known for its distinctive red pipe wrenches, but the company manufactures over 300 different types of tools. The company also sells power tools, largely made by TTI, and wet/dry vacs, made by parent company Emerson. Techtronic or TTI products include Milwaukee, AEG Powertools, Ryobi, Homelite, Hoover, Dirt Devil and Vax.
India you should have had @Rainy Day Auto hook you up!Yay! I just received shipping notification for my valve seat cutters! I can barely wait to see them.
Estimated delivery time 11/21 - 12/4. Not bad for a shipment from India...
Wow! Thats a beautiful piece. Try and find anything so nice in any car made today. That’s why i like the old stuff.Merry Christmas to meView attachment 1715115166 View attachment 1715115167 :
They are repops but that's ok. A restorable original set would cost plenty and re-chroming a original set costs more. $800-$1000+ would be my guess.Wow! Thats a beautiful piece. Try and find anything so nice in any car made today. That’s why i like the old stuff.
And they wonder why they get their butt pinched!I've always heard it was wrong to wear white after Labor Day. Boy is that ever wrong!

Im well aware of the 'real' Ridgid brand plumbing tools that were US made, high quality. I was mostly wondering how long the power tools have been around and if they have anything to do with the original company besides using the name.for marketing. From what I read they may be a step up from Ryobi from same factories. I had A Ryobi 18vdrill at last job that was OK except the chuck did not hold well at all. My Ryobi chainsaw is pretty good..Ridgid is not a Home Depot brand, they just sell them under a marketing agreement. Not saying what was done to those gals was right but........ (not butt) LOL This post sums it up for me. Don't shoot me or turn this discussion into a news and politics thing but........Here's my quote! "We had better not even look cross-eyed at a woman especially right now. I don't condone abuse but we are men. We have been domesticated. Why in the world does sex give us so much pleasure? Why do most women have to work so hard to have a orgasm? If women don't want to be slobbered over how come they dress and act the way they do? Check out the cleavage convention going on everywhere nowdays. How about thongs so women's butt's look nice and jiggle when they walk? How about those Nylon pants things they wear. Jesus, you can read the date on the quarter they have in their front pocket. I love a nice pair of blue jeans. My dad used the phraise" poured in and growed 6 inches". If you know what I mean. All the padded bras to look bigger and more shapely. Lot's of makeup to look like a model. Who are they dolling themselves up for? Or why? Can't be us. We can't look or touch. We need to put a cucumber in our pants and see where that get's us."
Guilty as charged! I eagerly await my punishment! Maybe all those women are gonna spank me!That was a woman who said that Ben...
...no doubt about it!
They are manufactured by the TTI group and are made in the Ryobi and Milwaukee factories depending on what they are. They are made to the specs determined by Ridgid.Im well aware of the 'real' Ridgid brand plumbing tools that were US made, high quality.
