Odd considering most trains are operating on a computer program now a days

The poly head is better then the LA heads. Cost too much to keep producing them. LA were less to make.
yep, made 60hp more too, stock for stock. essentially they were a hemi with a single rocker shaft.

The LA head was made to work, nothing more. Made to be lighter then poly heads, but performance was not a criteria.

UGH not impressed with Amazon...... first time I've ever ordered from them and they did a bait and switch on the item we ordered for my daughter, doesnt match the description or the pictures. And it was from Amazon themselves, not a third party. Go to return and they're telling me 10-14 days for either an exchange or 10 days for a refund.

Not a Amazon fan. I became a member and they signed me up for their premimum thing through a free shipping thing. I still don't know where I clicked a box to agree to the $100 charge for Prime! I did get it refunded but not without a hour of searching on the internet on how to do it.

Man, he really wadded that one up!

Yeah, they're now saying it was going 2 mph over the limit.
It's accurate based on data recorders. CNN missed when they reported 10 over. AP news reported it correctly...

"The train was going 81.1 mph moments before the derailment, according to transitdocs.com, a website that maps Amtrak train locations and speeds using data from the railroad’s train tracker app.

The maximum speed along the stretch of track is 79 mph, according to information about the route posted online by the Washington State Department of Transportation."

"An official briefed on the investigation told The Associated Press that preliminary signs indicate that Train 501 may have struck something before going off the track about 40 miles (64 kilometers) south of Seattle. The official was not authorized to discuss the investigation publicly and spoke on the condition of anonymity."
