Yep anything round is a pain and uses more paint, I did the same (took it down to metal) then a good coat of sealer primer, let it set a day then water sanded with 1000 grit, whipped it clean with prep wipe and started coating with Red, then another coat then another coat

Best part of it is the driver won't see your hard work because he is behind the wheel but the passenger can! LOL. I spend wayyyy too much time off stuff nobody will even notice.

no. i have a friend who last week, cashed out his 401k and jumped into bitcoin with it all, when bitcoin was over 20,000..... currently bitcoin is now worth under 12,000 pre-market trading.

yep. tried to tell him. meanwhile, my 401k, selfmanaged is up 18.156 percent as of this morning. Company managed average is 12.483 %. So im not doing too bad

Oh man I bet, I did a steering column for a friend that had a red int, the column was green and I was glad to get a coat of sealer/primer on it. it was for a 72 chebby truck, getting it painted and cleared seems I used a bunch of paint too

I've done several columns, But I have a blast cabinet. I just disassemble them, and blast the old paint off. Easy Peasy....

My only brother is being a Turd, Pete that lives in Memphis never calls unless his son needs cash, or needs car work .. and when our baby brother died 4 years ago he did nothing to help.. but ether did my older brother that passed away last April.
I text him and said I am so glad I have a dry shop to enjoy while it rains, I asked if it was raining in Memphis and he returned with a dark and spiteful reply
This hit me like a sledge hammer .. I think him and his gay friends have pity parties or something, Pete don't even have a savings account or a home .. I help him all the time and show him how much I love him, don't know where all that came from .. I did blast him back and said a few mean things, he is a mess and it mucked up my day Wednesday .. He is a drama queen so .......

As someone with a splintered family as well, sometimes you just got to stop helping them out and force them to stand on their own.

I agree 100% My wife and I worry about him and knowing I am his only family besides his son and daughter we know if something does happen it will be something I will have to (or feel like) deal with him (Homeless) or worse (sick) he is a heavy heavy daily drinker..
