Oh you mean Harley and skid mark. I thought maybe it was you and your wife.

I just wanted to check in quick, I have to go to Doug's go move the last fish tank today and we're all done...

Or at least I'm all done, they will have to unpack and organize the new house... Stuff everywhere... We were able to get all the beds moved and set up so they slept in the new house last night... We finally finished past midnight last night... Nothing like driving home with all the drunk drivers out....

They will be out of the old house today and turn it over to the landlord....

For all the hold-ups and things that can go wrong, being only one week off the planned/scheduled move-in target date is not bad...

Mostly due to Doug's wife's dad, the garage contractor that's been helping them all along. He's put alot of work into the new house for them... Great guy, does great work (I've learned a few things from helping him)...

Been havin some trouble with my router also. Looks like I'll have to call Dumbcast !

I wait till later in the day to talk to them so I'm not pissed off all day...it's like they've made it a science, all the techniques they use. If you want to laugh, go to You Tube and search "Comcast Sucks."

I haven't had trouble in a while, that's part of their evil plan, to lull me into a sense of satisfaction, just toying with me before the next phase of active punishment. I think Comcast and ATT actually work in tandem, haha!

Good morning gentlemen/lady!

Early start to a busy next two weeks....commissioning a printing press. (Google Heidelberg 106 XL).

Ters.

Sounds like a cool job. You get to travel a lot?

Yes sir. Not in a glamorous sense though... all over Africa as far as Cameroon/Angola. Luckily this installation is only 80 kilometers from home. Being in an African country for 10 days by yourself can be daunting.

Ters.

One of the few areas of the world I have never traveled to. Being away from home and family alone can be stressful. I have to go hope to talk again sometime.

Mornin' and hello again, folks!

Haven't been here in roughly 20 pages or so. About a week. Had a week off from everything, went out to the cabin by myself to get away from the constant sounds of family life. One of my stress symptoms is sensitivity to sound. And tinnitus. Decided to check out completely and stayed off Facebook and FABO. Did me well. Took walks and went for runs in the forest.

Back now, though. I think I'll take a look at my precious in the garage.

Nice printing press, Ters. Spent a couple of weeks testing an axial displacement system on an MAN Roland press in Augsburg in '98. I think they are the only two serious competitors in that market, no? At least European ones.

It's good to be back.

Good morning Anders !! We were all worried that something had gone wrong. Good to see you back.

Good morning and thank you, Mitch. TMM wrote me a friendly PM asking if I was OK. I was really moved.

I'm fine. Just a little down and not sure where to go with my car right now. Or my life.

Good morning. Glad its Monday so I can get back to my job. Lol. That roof work takes a lot out of you. Of course after work, I have more work to do at home since I was away all weekend.

Last one I did myself was 28 years ago on my 2 story house I built. We were young and dumb and didn't know the supplier would deliver them to the roof. Me and 2 other guys carried 75 bundles up a 20 ft extension ladder.
Yeah... Like I said.... Young and Dumb.

We have to get them to the roof manually, but its only like 10 feet, and I rigged a 'sled' to drag them up the ladder. Also, its only around 30 bundles. Anthony wanted to try carrying a bundle up 'like the roofers do'. Ray and I were both like, "you don't really want to do that". Lol

Yeah they actually make a ladder lift these days that connects on to your extension ladder and lifts them up.

"...as he stared at the computer screen and sipped his coffee, he shifted in his desk chair to stretch the aching muscles." I sure would not carry shingles up a ladder.

Off in a few minutes to Georgia to see my Dad and attend his wife's funeral tomorrow. She died peacefully after a long illness. Dad's in the hospital with an infection but he's much better. It seems like his mental confusion is a blessing. He stays cheerful. He may be able to go to the service...when the time comes, we'll see.

It will be good to be with my sister who's coming up from Florida, we have things to discuss, then I'll be really glad to get back home!!

Oh, by the way, it's pouring outside right now, doesn't that usually happen on days such as today?

It's a miracle more than 25% of us men survive our adolescence ...

edit: us as in we, not US.

that reminds me of the book face memes
