If they were fried, they might have been soft shell. They are a real treat!
Oh crap Stan wants me to go look at 64 Cuda Sunday. He sent pics actually has a ton of new spare parts and only a little rust through one area of the floor. 2K
I believe they were softshell, had them in Pensacola Florida at a seafood restaurant called "Landrys", might be a chain but was good.

Did you eat the entire crab without picking the meat from the shell? If so, they were soft shell.

Yes. Also have seen them served this way on a sandwich, son had that, also in Florida but did not like, probably preparation, different restaurant.
He want to do a flip and I get half. Really want to look at it he has no clue on the older ones at all.
