Stop in for a cup of coffee

Ok folks looking for some info/advice, I went from power to manual steering on the Duster. I bought the power to manual adapter. Not liking the looks of the coupler and adapter combo and DEFINITELY not digging the amount of shimming it’s going to need to clear the header. So considering I’ve already done the column mods to remove the column shifter and indicator i’d rather not have to buy a manual column. Can/should I look for a manual shaft and coupler and put it in my column? Or get a manual coupler and extend my existing shaft by welding in an extension or extending the collapsible section of the shaft? Or just save up for a complete manual column? Any advice or input is greatly appreciated.

Good morning from the left coast :D Just another Summer day here, 80sumthin'. Season finale at the dirt track tonight, a demolition enduro with pumpkins . It's fun to watch. Have to see what kind of junk they have strewn about the track this year. There was a boat parked in the middle of turn 2 last year . Good adult beverage consuming night.

A bunch of views on my travel poster thread, but no comments.

Hmmm...did I fail to capture interest that badly?

I took this photo of an old gas pump in front of business near here a few years ago. I drove by that place earlier today and the building has been leveled for a parking lot for the new commuter train station they are putting there. I wonder what happened to the old gas pump?

Afternoon guys. Yep Hoppy, I know the feeling. I ran into a old friend (cough cough) a couple weeks ago. Awkward!!!!!!!!!!!!! "Who was that gal?" my wife asked. "Oh just an old friend"

I just finished this one. May use it for a decal or possibly a t-shirt when I eventually start selling my stuff at car shows. As a trivia quiz, does anyone know where this particular design was used by Mopar?

Hamburger Helper ( actually Deerburger )for Dinner.... Three Cheese, With penne....I'll put extra Cheese on top....

That particular design was based on a decal that Dodge would send you if you sent in the card from the Dodge News magazine “Five from the Hive” issue, 1969.

I had a similar pump housing i picked out if a scrap pile. I kept the methyl signs and gave the pump away.

Unrestored they are worth around $1000. Fully restored, they go for $3500-$4500.

I wanted one for my garage, but not at those prices!

I had planned on fixing it up and making a cabinet out of it, but decided it should go to someone that wanted to restore it.
I was going to put it up for sale, but i have had my share of dealing with kijiji buyers.

My daughter had her birthday party at the local Bowling alley with a dozen of her friends tonight. They brought back the leftover pizza. The girls all loved it. It looks decent enough.

I think I will try a slice or two...

This is the only image of that decal that I have ever been able to find...

Dave, I assume you've seen the ad scans at moparts here?
Magazine Ads
Not exactly what you were looking for, but more material anyway.

One day I'd like to find the TV ad with the Mom saying something to the effect of "why don't you buy a nice car?"
