I've seen more wrong passenger mirrors than correct. They just didn't put them on many cars. I bought a pair of sport mirrors off a Duster and never thought about how they were mounted. Turns out there for B or E body. Luckily they are probably worth more than I paid so I will eventually sell them.

Yes, but functionally, it's better to have a non matching pass mirror, than not have one at all....
You also have to be careful where you drill the holes to put them. If you put them too far forward, they may block the vent window from opening all the way (check before drilling). :banghead:
And some positions the mirror is blocked by the vertical metal frame of the vent window.... :banghead:
ALWAYS check the position before drilling your mounting holes!!!! #-o

Yeah, Got a Pain in the A$$ BMW coming back here today with a vacuum pump issue and oil leaks. I'ts already been here 4 times in the last 6 months. If I never see it again, it will be too soon.

I love working on cars and bikes that are mine but if one is a continual problem it leaves! I don't think I could work as a mechanic
I only do a couple of jobs a week in my home shop. Built the shop for my own use initially. This Bimmer belongs to a friend of mine, or, believe me , it would be long gone . I just try to do enough work on the side, for Beer and Golf money. LOL
I am on cup #2 and can't get motivated.

Here I am, long night last night, dam firechicken again. Now the gas gage is intermittent and the wife ran out of gas right at the end of a blind turn, unfortunately the car still lives, but fortunately the wife is fine.
No the hub covers should be here today. I think I have just about enough paint leftover from the car to paint the black areas with the body color. Now the hard part mask all those tiny areas off or just brush paint it? I guess it depends on how much beer is in the shop!!!!!

Has anyone ever noticed tracking number on different sites like PayPal and eBay, stores all have different locations the item is at? I thought they all went to the usps site so why the difference? Drives me crazy.

Morning from the west coast! Up too early, cant sleep this time of year and the dog likes to remind me to feed her breakfast. Work today, hope to bead blast my backup light housings and get them ready for paint on my lunch hour, then hit the gym. Well good day to all!:coffee2:
