Stop in for a cup of coffee

Good morning folks, the sun has not popped up yet here in my time zone, anyone on the east coast see it yet ? :color:
It was a cloudy cool day with winds topping out to about 15 mph and I hope I see the sun today :glasses7:
First cup to start my day is in me and wondering what to cook for breakfast this morning.

Morning Mike. No sunrise here today. Ice and sleet storm right now.

Nah, Got a dentist appointment at 10 am. I'll drive the old Jeep Comanche over there. I't a beater, so if it goes offroad, no sweat.

Mine is rock solid here. Went to get a soil sample to test and no real way to get a good one, or should I say not worth the effort!

Love these Jeeps, and that my friend is NO better :D saweet ride

I really cannot do much until the roots (rhizomes) show some life then I harvest them and sell them. It pays for the field and some. The hops themselves are really labor intensive to harvest, and I built a picker that you put the bines into and it strips them off, then you have to dry them, then package them etc. Right now a friend of mine is renting the picker, but he has acreage. For the effort I rather have brewers come over and get there own, pay me and give me free beer. Could be a perfect retirement but....

To grow them is pretty easy once you have a trellis in, think of them like 18" tall grapes. Weed and feed is about all you have to do once established. They come back every year.

Not primer :coffee2: man Mitch ! you are all hooked up there  pun intended :D

Actually they are the same family as marijuana! It is kind of funny. They grow like weed, sometimes 1 ft a day.
