Just got back from the local fire dept that makes them every year. Picked up a couple dozen for the crew at work.

Dreams are like movies in your head....
I used to dream that I was bit by a rattle snake when I was a kid. Sometimes I would wake up after the snake bit me in my dreams, and my leg hurt just like I had really been bit, even though I had not...
There's much study on dreams and interpreting them. I'm not sure if every dream has "significant" meaning to life, but is your brain working out solutions to your life. It's like your brain is trying to think ahead and work out problems like, "If I do this, then this will happen as a result..."
Sometimes dreams could be psychic. Some people have psychic abilities, most don't. I would not be alive today if that weren't true, but that's another story for another day...
My friend Dan dated a girl that was psychic. She would have dreams that would come true. Dan used to fix stop lights. His gf would tell him to look out for a blue car today at work. Sure enough, during the course of his day, a blue car almost hit him while he was working. She did this many times, and it would come true, so much that Dan finally told her not to warn him because he would be paranoid all day looking out for something to happen. He would rather not know....
But most dreams I believe are just your mind thinking about stuff, working some of it out. Sometimes I just think it's just entertainment - like watching a movie in your brain. But sometimes it's so abstract, you even wonder why you even think of some things that you dream about.... You do things in your dreams that you normally wouldn't think to do in real life... Your mind is wandering, exploring the possibilities without your conscious "limitations"....
Just go along with it and enjoy the ride....
