Stop in for a cup of coffee

Yeah, I'll do that when I get it in the lift bay. LOL

Should work right set that puppy to 20000rpm and let it fly when it smokes your good! LOL I did the cluster pretty slow and it was around 40 on the spedo, maybe 200 rpm or so.

Who knows with these cars. I looked for the inner cable kit and it was a little more for the assy. I can imagine what a nos one would run.

Yeah, I've sold many, many of those inner cable repair kits. I think someone makes an aftermarket complete cable.

Bought some Bacon flavored Spam on the advice of some thread here. Gonna try fryin that next week. LOL

I think that was here. I have had it good stuff. Try bbq ing it some time. Really good.

4.5 is a guesstimate. I would have to measure... I think it may be slightly bigger. I'll measure the glass on my DS, and then check the back plate when i get the PS with no glass in it later this week.

Ray,
I measured the mirror glass last night. I got 4-3/8. I found two places selling FLAT replacement glass. One showed 4-1/4 the other 4-11/32. I'm inclined to believe the last ( more precise) one. I'll probably check with a local glass shop and see if they can do a convex. Or, I may be able to get a larger (5" ?) in plastic and trim it down.

Do the glass place if not trim one down. That's me though. At least you found one.

Morning Ben.

Too bad they don't have a convex stick on. I'd go for that.

There should be aftermarket cables out there.

Or, just remove the inner member of the cable (strand) and lube it with a medium oil or light grease and re-insert the inner strand to the conduit...

 Is it morning already :glasses7: setting outside on the deck typing on the lap top to say good morning to every one :color:

Morning Karl

Hi guys. I was up late last night with the older boy working on cars...

We got the fuel line in the Valiant to where we need to order a few mounting clips and it should be done...

We need to bring the rear drums in to have them cut, then we can adjust the rear brakes, then adjust the parking brake cables...

Then we went to the back garage and cc'ed his engine and heads... We're at 7.6 compression with a 318 and 360 heads. I have another set of smaller port heads with the bigger 360 valves, we just need to figure out which way to go. According to the desktop dyno, it should only make 5 more HP with the larger heads, but will be a little stronger above 4500 rpm than with the smaller port 318 heads with 360 valves...
