Stop in for a cup of coffee

-
It's clear here in FL with 210% humidity. My mom is in SC so I'm drinking coffee and putting off heading out to the shop- I've got chrome to clean. What are y'all up to today?

Good morning. ........ looks like a smoother day today after we had some violent weather yesterday. Got some golf ball size hail and flooding bursts of rain. There are downed trees and leaves everywhere. .....its a mess

saw on the news- several inches of hail out your way? We seldom get hail and it's usually just a quick burst and done. But SO destructive. Just shreds the trees. Heavy overcast here, but not calling for rain. Looks like it should be a pretty nice day. Got called into work yesterday, and my yard work didn't do itself... Guess I'll need to get on it. Need to finish weeding spring cleanup on the planting beds so the Mrs can get the rest of her flowers in. A few more weeks and the spring growth spurt should calm down.

Keith, that thing in the picture is a cheap mans flare set up. two sets if reflectors stacked wit an orange flare! It was just to cool not to buy for 2 bucks and it was never used! Did se an original except paint 69 Charger 440/4spd with a few options burried in a neighbors garage. We were talking about the dart and he asked if I wanted to se his 440. I almost died!

Foggy out second day in a row. Went in to center city phila. Yesterday. Most of the buildings downtown were covered above around 75 ft.

Morning all, got 4 inches of rain from the 7th to the 9th, then turned to snow. Woke up to 6 inches of snow and still coming down. Several roads washed out and standing water every where. Coffee was good on my way into work though.

It's all yours. Don't envy you a bit.

Won't get me near a restaurant today or valentines day. Although most people around here brunch is a big deal.

Totally booked here even lunch! Might have to do a raincheck. The boy does not want anything but some cash so that is easy. Mom, that is the hard one, no idea what she wants. She just wants the kids around and to get along which is a hard thing, hate since pre teens with them for blaming each other for everything growing up.

Don't know that I'll even leave the house today. Sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee. Kids ain't around. I'm cooking her breakfast... Home fries and sausage are on the stove...

I do have to fix the firechicken again, #3 plug boot shorted out, What a pain to get out without a lift. I want to change the wires and have them but two guys and a lift are needed. The dam engine sits back under the cowl and there is no room at all.

Thought you found a sucker...I mean buyer for that thing.

No fender well to drill to right at the strut housing, terrible design. The three coil packs you can get to the front one but have to drop the engine mount to get to the other two. This is a v6 I can imagine a v8. Keith the deal fell through, he tried to low ball her for 4 k. I would have taken it but it is hers. I does look great though......

There was a guy on flea bay that sold a modified plug socket and an offset box wrench that a few guys claimed worked. Can't seem to find the link for it.

V8 should be easy to get the back ones. Sounds like you could do them sitting in the front seat. LOL

We'll have to go. Smurfs shifted all the rocks on the waterfall again overnight. Looks like another day at the koi pond.

No the plug wires are a nightmare to get on the plugs, They have a metal heat shield on them and you cannot get on them to take them off or put them on and they short out to the heat shield it seems if you take them off and put them back on. I did the plugs when the tranny was changed. The routing of the wires are all on top of the engine under the cowl area back around 18" and no clearance and in a covered loom. I had the same problem with 5 wire and just temp put it on over the top with a new wire. Really a poor design and I have small arms and hands and cannot get to them! Keith saw it and had some good remarks when he was here I do believe.

Well I have to go to tractor supply to get a mower deck belt for the little deere I use for cutting in. Have a good on keith, hey if you need some parts We might go tomorrow so pm them to me if you want me to pick them up and a rough what you would pay with your cell #.

I'm back with coffee to counteract that "mild sedative" I gave myself at 5:30 a.m. It's muggy here due to that mystery storm "Ana" passing by yesterday. For years I always worked Mother's Day but being a steakhouse, we are closed (Mom's want brunch.) I'm not going further than the store today. It would be nice if they have Stone Crab again. Last Sunday I bought a bag of claws and beer, sat on the kitchen floor in my underwear with newspapers spread out and vice grips and had a feast! The JOYS of living alone!
