Morning everyone, I'm out of coffee but that's okay. Gives me a reason to go have coffee with my folks. Think I'll take my Dad out to breakfast.

Good morning Stan :glasses7: that sounds like a good time to me bud, enjoy your time with your dad, and make more memories :coffee2:

Good morning...decided to try an idea I saw, cook bacon part way then unroll cinnamon rolls and re-roll with bacon, and bake!! Pretty good, but then again why wouldn't they be?

Hey Mike, I saw your "adventure" thread and gave it 5 stars.

Keeping my fingers crossed for an adventure of my own. Might take a trip tomorrow to the sliding rock in NC. As a kid I always wanted to go there, now at 55 I hope I can go where the river makes a long natural water slide into a chilly pool. I appreciate good old fashioned American activities, even though I'll probably have some bruises to show for it! It's advised to wear cut-off jeans...I'll let you know if the water is really as cold as everyone says. We are having a heat wave here, so I really hope my coworker who has friends we can stay with in the mountains, will say the trip is on!

That is a great addition, Mike. A campfire with improvements and, you can sleep in your own bed.

Well good morning David  You be careful out on the river's end bud, and it sounds like a great time :color: enjoy this day we have been given :glasses7:

Well, I'm backup and finished the dishes.

Now I have to run to get some veggies to throw in the turkey stew for later after I separate the bones and meat...

I just got back the car ran great! It got 22 mpg with the HHO on. I had to stop by and see an old friend I spent a lot of time on and reminisced about getting stuck in Ireland on the old Triple Cripple! Here are some pics!

You know hops....knowing a little of the history (and very little at that) the last picture brought a tear to my eye. Is that the very same plane you were on?

Many many times, Iraq, Kuwait, Northern watch, Southern watch, Enduring Freedom, a political prisoner in Ireland and many more plus I dam near rewired the whole thing!

Here is a link to its last breakdown!

Kind of fitting as an avatar since the POPMOBILE got the tail panel from the last group of Airmen I was with as a gift from them after retirement. I wondered what happened to the paint.....dam beer side effects!

I only flew on 130 twice, once drunker than Cooter Brown (lot of fun), next time i was hungover bad (not a friendly aircraft with a pounding head). I'll bet you have some great memories of her.

Both of those experiences are checked off the bucket list. Favorite aircraft was the HH-60-G Spec ops rescue "JOLLY GREEN" And the MC-130P Combat talons were the ones I worked on the longest. I can tell you some stories about those but then I would have to flash your computer! I also worked on the EC-130J's, hated them run by windows!

I actually got a bit done yesterday, VA in the AM, loved the ride lots of thumbs up for the "POP", put the drip irrigation in for the wifes garden and put the ac's in a few windows, no way this place could ever get central ac, log cabin.

Those pics are dated 1989. No wonder the Popmobile looks so good! So, i guess they wouldn' t let ya spin the props, huh? LOL

When I was an aux Crew chief I spun props many times to park it so the gear oil would not pool in the box. They had to be "parked" Yeah it is an old camera! It was just a good photo op, I forgot triple cripple was a static display at Fort Indian Town Gap.

Did ya at least get inside and see if your old wiring rigs were still in place? LOL

Is that tail the antenna with the four thingies sticking out the sides?

I know exactly what was left in there It could fly again it is actually "pickeled" That one is a spec ops propaganda bird, it used to broadcast TV and Radio out of those antennas, It could override almost the whole east coast back in the day. Never seen always heard was the motto. It was always joked about as crosshairs for enemy fighters, x marks the spot!
