i wonder if it varies from state to state .....i have heard that the Colorado DOC does not skimp and we have a ton of prisons around including a super max about 45 mins away.
i think it would be a depressing place to work because people are so mean. I went into the jail one time on a tour and it was scary .........the woman's side is just scary and those girls are not normal girls.

Well I am not going to try to say it is like being at a college or anything but I feel as safe there as I do on the street. The thing is I know who is violent and deal with it. On a college campus or even a movie theater you don't have a clue who is there.
There really is some talented and cool guys in there. ANd some who would stab you for entertainment.
