:well I made a plan ...now is to be seen if I stay with it.
Now there is no debate in the shop and no wasted time......I can live out my fantasy of working on the assembly line in Detroit In fall of 1974 and just put the car together with no time wasted.
I used a lot of factory codes and some of my own made up codes that I understand ....so this is the plan illustrated in my own home made build sheet ......construction starts Tuesday

it would be white ....I think white is a boring color if the car is painted like a refrigerator .....however in my plan I will add to the color with sharp contrast color break ups .
the combo is actually a trendy combo right now ....its the "stormtrooper" look

I ordered a later model white ....the old "alpine" white used in the late 60s and early 70s had a bit more yellowish tint as compared to some of these whites used on the really late model cars ....so i ordered with the formula used on mid-2000s vipers.
Its brighter and will be less prone to fading or yellowing.

ooooooh that's a nice truck
the more i think about it ...the more i like the combo.
this is the closest i could find on the net for a white duster.
this one has white wheels which i will not because after mid 72 the factory painted all steel wheels black anyways, plus i want the contrast.
this one lacks the longitude stripe i am planning and the all black interior.
I will not have a hood scoop like that or anything on the hood and no vinyl top.
Looks nice except the white wheels and white vinyl top. It also has Ray Hops pop up Tach!

No running me off Memike... happy fathers day everyone. This is a day to pat yourself on the back for a job well done, sit back relax and enjoy the day !!
And don't forget the pop up hood scoop, looking at a squarish type. Like an air grabber, but not one to much for the scoop and the part it sits in. I have the hood in the garage, almost mint for 40. Had to get it. I just woke up again, at least the primer dried......
