No I'm good. I think. Legs are a little tight. Otherwise im fine. Anthony said his legs are sore. He laughed when I put up the ladder to work on my tenets shop roof this morning. 60 x 100 but at least it's flat. Just did a little matenence.. Cleared of some tree limbs growing over. Made sure the drains were all clear. Simple stuff.

Got my boy home sick today. I'm planning (it was actually my wife's idea) to coerce him into building a little on our joint airplane model. We started almost a year ago but when it was just painting parts on the tree we both got bored. A while ago I decided to try another approach: build the thing and then maybe paint the outside.

Hopefully he'll be amused enough to perhaps finish it with me.

Someday when I am bored, I will have to dig around here and see if we have any unfinished models worth finishing. Seeing the one Mitch got reminded me I would like to do one to match the Duster. I had looked a while back, and will probably need to buy 2 kits to get a slant to put in it. Maybe after the 'full size' one is done. I can buy real car parts for what them things cost now...

I'm almost back to normal today. Had nasty cramp in my left thigh Sunday 3AM. After a bit more sleep it wasn't too sore, so I got back up on the roof and worked a few hours Sunday. Yesterday morning is when it hurt worst...
Saw a post recently that fits - "if nothing hurt when I get up in the morning, I would think I was dead." Lol
 
Good Morning all !! Yardwork yesterday. Blew all the leaves off the lawn with a hand held leaf blower. Took 4 tanks of gas. Cut the grass for the last time. Hooked up the spreader to the tractor and put down fertilizer. then seed. Then pulled the aerator around for an hour. Just in time for light rain all day today. My right heel is killing me today.
 
I am at a stop on the progress i was making on the wagon .....

a guy on FBBO was supposed to sell me a template to trim the console from auto to 4 speed because the 4 speed goes up higher than the auto and it gets real tricky if you don't know where you're cutting.

Well a month has gone by and nothing ....then I started a thread about it and just got a couple irrelevant replies.

Seems to be the standard wit FBBO, either they don't want to answer questions or they don't know, which is stupid either way. Fabo people are so much friendlier and knowledgeable. I wont be re-newing any Gold on FBBO.

So now with the console ....I am just going to wait and buy a new re-pop body so I don't have to rely on anyone and then I will my own template for the future.

Only problem is the new console bodies are not exactly cheap and I am done buying my big items for the month.

so the console brackets wait till Dec. and so does painting the floor. In the meantime I will find something else to do on the car ......plenty to be done
 
I just put up a classified looking for a 69 300 mirror for an acquaintance and this morning two replies.

maybe they don't like newbies on FBBO and I look like one there with a low post count or something ....its far from dead. You can start a question thread and it gets pushed back two pages in a couple hours.
 

No not much interest it can go days without a new thread. I actually was the second top poster just because me and "Bear" were chatting a bit.
 
Met this guy at Chucks where we are doing the rad support and he asked me if I knew anyone and I told him I will put out a feeler, he has been looking for a few years and all the yards he called laughed at him. Did my thing for him now to get them together.
 
I am starting to think new is the way to go anyways .....hurts to pay but once its done ..its done.

Something to be said for new where you don't have to re-finish and its ready to go.

I am going to have more console cars coming in the future so I want them all to match so I don't want to get into extensive plastic repair and re-texturing and the whole number

Good morning kids. Almost time to get ready for work. I got a slow start yesterday, It got cold enough overnight the truck didn't want to start. I had to plug in the engine heater and start it later. I stopped by Napa and ordered some new glow plugs. I plugged it in last night. lol
