Stop in for a cup of coffee

Just want to be sure I visually see oil there. Mike at MRL says he uses nothing but Joe Gibbs assy lube, so I got some. I may clean up the bad shaft and rockers with some emery. then assemble with JG lube and see what happens. That way I'm sure I won't ruin a new set.

Know what would be cool, a set of clear valve covers! At first when they are still clear.

I can shut it down quick, if I don't get oil. Then, It's a teardown of the front of the motor.

Can you get something through the oil passage? I know you verified the cam bearing was in place. Just thinking while typing here.

I have these really long ( 18in) pipe cleaners, someone gave me a long time ago. I'll use them, even before I try the old stuff

I picked up some really long brushes at a plumbing store that are like gun brushes on 2 foot flexible shafts. I would try that while someone cranks the oil pump to push any crap out. Just a thought or even just a stiff wire like a small dia brazing rod to see if it is blocked.

I see we have our thinking caps on already. Good Morning fellers

Add a few beer and yell watch this and we would have a high pressure nitrogen bottle hooked to the sender port and blow that puppy put along with the rear main seal!

For most of the slant cleanup I used a set of tube brushes from HF, but some of it I was chucking pipe cleaners in a drill. Twist 2 or three as needed.
