Stop in for a cup of coffee

Good morning to second shift. I'm hanging around a bit this morning. I got the snow under control but my truck and pickup are running to clear the windows. We got a couple inches of heavy wet stuff yesterday and just about as much last night. It's not all that much but hard to move because it's so heavy.

Yes got it in, not the problem:banghead: Took out the Cam, Had a lobe wiped, I THINK I got ISKY to replace it for free, with new lifters. They have a good warranty.

That's good to hear.. Isky is a old company and has customer satisfaction skills which is good now days.

gOOD THAT THEY ARE REPLACING IT.
They told me that is a problem across the industry. a BIG topic of conversation. They, the Cam industry, blame it on the oil available. And high spring pressure and radical profiles that is getting to be the norm for Cam buyers. No one puts in a stock Camshaft any more.

Getting going last over here in Seattle. Trying to figure out 67 cuda dash pad differences. Found one for a "C" note. Not perfect but right color. Has a dent tho on top ….itty bitty. I think the ends are different. Going to be a great day. Six feet above. Its 8am here now. Day off.

It's Tool Time for me. Short/local route day today. I can leave at 10 and still get done before 5. Have a good one guys!

Drove to GA to see my Dad yesterday. Had a brand new fleet Impala, people thought I was a cop and got out of my way! I liked it.

Dad looked at the whole album I made, he'd never cried around me before. He was happy and sad at the same time. I respect all you Dads out there who can handle your children when they are upset; I got him laughing so that was good. When your Dad was always Superman to you, it's a different feeling to tuck him into bed with his teddy bear.

I'll tell you what, my Dad is right how nice the people are in his small town, the ladies who work there treat him very kindly.

We're at 40° and wet, we didn't get any of that snow.... :banghead:
