Stop in for a cup of coffee

Has any one ever done a laminate floor in their house? Having a bit of a problem getting the seams to hide just seems like I am doing something wrong.

I have one in my kitchen... Hate it. Already buckled and gaps between the ends of the boards...

I still never got an answer from any other thread ....if an A-body 8 3/4 is the same strength and all as an earlier B-body.

every time I ask, I just get people saying they are surprised that B-bodies could have had an 8 1/4 as early as 69

yes it is so

I have an 8 1/4 from a 70 belvedere .......

I'm confused....I would think they would all be the same strength. Is there a difference between a car and a truck?

This may help: Strength, I thought you said length! Lol

well I know they are different lengths and a B-body rear works in a duster or a wide 1/4 A-body...mainly duster and cuda ....gets a little tight in a dart which has slimmer 1/4s

what I don't know if the internals are the same.

I read your post too fast. I thought you said length. You said strength. lol

From all the ones I have taken apart they seem the same unless you get to 2.73 and higher the flange for the ring gear is no where near as thick BUT THE RING GEAR IS THICK.. Now track lock and cone and open I am sure there are differences. Bet RRR could answer that one

good morning

Hey Rani there is also a bearing split I think in 74 and up has larger carrier bearings, found that out the hard way.

so I assume the 74 and up are stronger than the earlier ones.

if they would have been the same I was going to put the 8 1/4 from the 70 belvedere into that 74 duster body shell I showed a few miles back.

I might do it anyways because the duster doesn't have a suspension and I need to get it off the trailer sooner or later. They put it on the trailer with a fork lift and I don't have one of those at the location I am storing the car :???:
