THANK YOU .....I almost got in an argument with someone who said 8 1/4 didn't come out till 74 but I had a 69 satellite more door with a 318 that had an 8 1/4 and this current one I have came from a 70 belvedere 2 door post slant six car.

so I assume the 74 and up are stronger than the earlier ones.

if they would have been the same I was going to put the 8 1/4 from the 70 belvedere into that 74 duster body shell I showed a few miles back.

I might do it anyways because the duster doesn't have a suspension and I need to get it off the trailer sooner or later. They put it on the trailer with a fork lift and I don't have one of those at the location I am storing the car :???:

8 1/4 should handle it as long as it is under 500 hp and a track lock. You can get them pretty easy from a dana 35.

theyz just different - and it's all good - I can be ready to go out the door in under 5mins - t-shirt, jeans,a flannel and my boots - done. Her - hair, necklace (does it go with..?) shirt change at least one time - which pants?? humm... what's it like outside - - does these shoes look ok with all this...? minimum of 15min - - and that IF we're in a hurry..

yea, I think men will run out the door totally under prepared and then over pay for stuff that you have at home and could have just as easily threw it in the bag.

It saves money and time on the long run to be prepared for everything. :evil3:
