Stop in for a cup of coffee

Thank you! The vacation was a great time as they always are.. The week just didnt stretch far enough.

However, we had a awful experiance with American Airlines. Every Jet we took on the way down had mechanical problems causing us to be 3.5 hours later than we were suppose to be. Then on the way back they lost our luggage, which is better than the way down there.

Of course I get to work yesterday and the place fell apart! So many issues and it didnt seem like anyone could fix a single one.. They just put a bandaid on them and now I have to fix them all. Frustrating!

ah travel.. SO much fun... LOL

good day for indoor activities.. that's a Firechicken you're working on right?

That's my wifes car a piece of crap as far as I am concerned, super pain in the *** to work on. Ron has a 73 Monte Carlo. He has helped me out a lot so I definitely owe him he can use the shop anytime he wants, even has a key and stocks the fridge also!

you all getting this rain yet?

my area just dodged a snow storm .....just north about an hour and half, they got like 6 inches of snow.

where I am had some mean wind and the wind sort a deflected the "blue" ( as seen on Doppler) away from my area and it is totally dry here.

Crazy stuff.

I bet being a meteorologist would be an interesting job

73 - that is the longer nosed ones with the single headlights? first year of the bigger design... I think..

Ben did you look at that site last night with the cash cannon? Funny stuff for sale there.

a miss is a good as a mile O:) - meteorologists must get paid fairly well - but I don't think I could do it..

What rain.... I did't feel/see a thing...

No, really we're supposed to get some snow here today...

According to the weather channel (which is not always accurate) it's supposed to start here at 8 AM and go until 3 AM tomorrow...

Here's the most accurate place for weather info:

No it is a 99 v6 convertible. Looks really nice just had a lot of issues with it last year and if I could I would sell it but for some reason she wont. Pisses me off because in the winter I turn into UBER. She does not like to drive the truck and my Cobalt is a stick so that is a no go with her left leg sometimes goes into a spasm (don't ask).

Doesn't surprise me about American Airlines.

The service is horrible....I had a flight from Chicago to New Delhi which is like a 19 hour flight and every time you would ask for something the workers would roll their eyes and act like you are a pain in the rear for being there.

The food wasn't anything to write home about either. They didn't really give the selection for religious restrictions like most INTL. airlines. I don't care because I eat anything like a little piggy but not everyone is like that so I found that odd on AA's part.

Hey Karl. You getting rain up there? Cool tool find!

Thanks. I thought that i would never see it again...

I was up late in the electrical forum with Del, trying to figure out how it's made. We have all of the resistors figured out, but one. The colors are too close for our eyes to call if they are dark green, dark blue, or black stripes.... :banghead:

So I tried to measure the resistance. He said my analog (old trusty/reliable one) wasn't good enough, so I tried my son's mutimeter from UTI, and it didn't measure anything...

So I tried my "old reliable" one for kicks and got some readings. Then when I posted them, I missed him by 4 minutes as he signed off to get some sleep..... :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

So I'm waiting to see how he responds to my post with the readings...

Welcome back and thank you for the pig tails. I've started wiring them in and only have a few more circuits left to go... They are a big help... :prayer: :prayer: :prayer:

Got some stuff done on the GTS yesterday.........

a dart dash ....I kinda miss that sometimes. I swapped a 68 barracuda dash into my 68 dart so I am not used to seeing the dart dash anymore. Seeing yours makes me kinda miss the original dash, but no 150 MPH speedo or room for a tach :???:

That would be a great thing to build, sure it would not be that hard. Just 12v and a load inside to make variable voltage?
