Stop in for a cup of coffee

I looked up right away on ebay for a Miller C 3826- A and of course......non existent

old tools are so cool. Some day I want to get an old style VAT-40 and stuff they would have had around when our cars were new

They stopped making them years ago. After I lost mine in the move, I tried to order another one, along with the torsion bar removal tool, and they were no longer available... :violent1:

I got lucky to find one of my old ones, and this one has never been used, still brand new in the box...

I would love if someone could make them for other mopar freaks to use to troubleshoot their gauges... We all like to keep our gauges working... :D

I like how the true enthusiast will help out another in need. Mopar fans have been that way for years, that's what helps keep us together, we help each other in need... :prayer:

Was just looking up some parts should be cheap to make. To bad radio shack closed could have done one this week!

Cool ne to order me some parts and boxes! Who wants one?

If you are really serious, make a few and post a thread in the electrical section... I'm sure that you can sell them... There seems to be a big demand for them if you could make them cheap enough where you make a few $$$ for your time, and they get a reasonable price for a way to test their gauges...

I would like another one, just in case something happens to mins... It's always good to have a back-up plan... One of the lessons learned from growing up watching Dukes of Hazzard... :D

Hi Mr. Memi .......if I didn't say hi this morning then HI!!!! :coffee2::coffee2:
Good morning Rainy I understand we can't be everywhere all the time dear, so here is a picture I took of my wall I did not post today yet, witch one should I use ? The one with Buddy or this one ? thank you for your time this morning :color:

Done will order some parts today in bulk for it. looks like a small box will work great just need to figure out the labels for it. Stand alone or in the car is the question! I am seriously thinking bulkhead connector since they are all the same and stand alone with 12v supply, would need a second bank of resistors to drive it from 9 vdc. Really thinking a variable resistor with range marks on it to check the whole sweep if I can find one the right range. Thanks Karl!

Cool Ray! Give it a try...

I have pictures on my thread showing the instructions on the front and back of the tool...

If you need any more info, let me know...

You and Del can both make them and we can have the good old american competition to keep the prices down... LOL! :D

Then some. Once you know the resistance needed set it and go. Prob every older gauge out there.

hmmmm. I might be crazy enough to buy one.

The tools are the coolest thing other than the cars themselves. I never think twice about buying specialty tools, especially for as many cars as I have laying around.

I have some old type testers ...like an engine analyzer I still want to master and figure out every use and function.

as I said before, I actually want to get an old VAT-40 like they used to use in a dealership shop.

you guys are so cool because we talk about the coolest things in here.

Tools to us are like light sabers are to a Jedi... You can tell how advanced of a Jedi you've become by the tools in your box and your ability to use them.... :rambo:

Master the force... :glasses7:

I love the whine of my Ingersol Rand impact wrench... Wah, wah, wah.... Argh, Argh, Argh.... <Tim Allen grunts>

that is the one I saved - it's got Mopar art in it.

Mr. Tim Allen is awesome ....he gets an extra 100 cool points from me just because he is from Denver. MORE POWER argh argh argh!!!

hmmmm. I might be crazy enough to buy one.

You would be crazy NOT to buy one...

Get them while they're hot (available), because if they go away, you'll kick yourself in the @ss for not having one if you ever need to test your gauges... :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

And we can pretty much say, sooner or later everyone will need to test a gauge or two...

So is anyone buying the OTC 3385 or is everyone waiting to come up with something ???

I am just going to make a few, full/ half/ low (empty) scale by switch and a sweep option also to see the full range should be a breeze now that I know the values.
