Stop in for a cup of coffee

I'm sure that's true. I think the diameter of that sucker makes it that expensive. There are flat rate boxes but I'm not sure it fits in one of those.

There is one med box here that I use a lot it is for toys or games. They are only around for Christmas time so I grab a lot of them. I think it is 12 to ship them. I have sent ring gears and similar things in them.

I hope so.

Man, I googled pictures of the air cleaner lid and one of the first hits was from phoenixspecialtycoatings.com.

Leanna sure knows her stuff.

I have never used her since what I am doing is a low budget rat rod sleeper. But I have seen her stuff and it is fantastic!

You can put up to 70 pounds in any of the flat rate boxes here. I love them.

The biggest flat rate box we can get is for 20 kg (44 lbs) and it is very close to $20. Internal dimensions are 20x12.5x4.5 inches.

That's not a bad size either. Have you bought stuff from the U.S. and how much was the shipping? Just curious

Since I now have (en route) an air cleaner, I would very muck like matching valve covers. I wonder how much they would be over there and if they would fit in any of those USPS flat rate boxes.

Just sent a set out of sb covers and they did not fit in any of them. I do not think they can be used for international mail let me check.

Yes, Don (65Dartman) sent me a couple of packages last year. One of them was 31 lbs. The total postage for that was $111. Then I paid an additional $50 perhaps in taxes and customs.

That included brake pistons and a holley 4bbl carb.

Thanks for the discount code! I think I'll use it for the O-rings and some other little trinkets I need.

Anders - I'd be interested in knowing how it goes if you do decide to take the engine & trans out by dropping the K-frame.. I have always "old schooled" it and taken them out from above

See what the shipping is from them, they might get a discount on shipping. Do watch that site because they have a few different warehouses and if the parts come from different ones the shipping is split up for each one. Look at the cart to see and usually you can find all of the order from one.

Yeah, I had that problem last time I shopped there.

I'll make sure to document the process!

You'll probably be able to see the extent of the trans fluid stain on the floor too ...

I wish they would have the location of the part on the parts listing. I usually check a few and add them to the cart and delete the ones not coming from the same location.

Clay cat litter works great on trans fluid cleanup! Trust me when the trans cracked in half I had a bit on the floor!

yea, like I said before - mostly depends on timing.. I do already have a couple of planned vacations coming up, so I have to keep an eye on my available time.. if this whole thing is on a 3 day weekend........
Take a day or two off.. I'm betting it'll be worth it...
