Believe it or not I have put 134 in without the drier change and it was fine. I have the adapters if you need them to charge it when the time comes.
Company is great but after three days it is a trying experience no matter who it is.

What adapters are needed? I've got a buddy that has a vac pump etc. He has charged my other cars with 134. He's actually an industrial refrig guy, so doubt he has any 'special' fittings for changing refrigerant type. Do you need that every time you charge it, or can I swap them so it can be re-charged without anything special in the future. Would not want someone to accidentally put 12 in down the road.Believe it or not I have put 134 in without the drier change and it was fine. is this just to get clearance for the 440? What does everyone else do? I would think somebody came up with a good fix.Anyone have any ideas? I cannot push the motor back without getting another squirrel cage that would be 1" of blades.
If its like mine, that would throw off the inlet from the cowl. Which was the biggest PITA for me, getting that aligned.Ray - can you put longer mounting studs on it and space it into the cabin a little further some how?
Thought of that but like Keith said and also the heater core nipples would go inside. Thought of that also.If its like mine, that would throw off the inlet from the cowl. Which was the biggest PITA for me, getting that aligned.
OK, did not know they were different. They convert from thread to coupler. You can leave them on after if you want.View attachment 1714993084
humm.. just one inlet right? on the far right... maybe set it at an angle from there...???If its like mine, that would throw off the inlet from the cowl. Which was the biggest PITA for me, getting that aligned.
Great idea but to much *** pain to get everything in alignment again. If I thought about that when building it it would have been a great idea. Some race cars use shims between the k-member & frame to lower the engine.
the inside of the cowl is raised so water goes around itIt is amazing that does not fill with water from the cowl, mine does not have a drain tube. Did have a bunch of pine needles in it though.
mine had some rust pinholes and did leak a little. coated the inside there with neoprene roof caulkthe inside of the cowl is raised so water goes around it

results may vary. lolFrom my rock auto searching a dodge colt might just do it. Same problem with the descriptions is the motor length just the case or with the shaft also?
