I don't know how the new program works for sure. Is there a cam profile option? You could take the lift (which is usually at 1.5) and divide it by 1.5 then take it x 1.6. Example. 500 lift with a 1.5 rocker=how to i figure in 1.6 ratio rockers?
Actual photo...no retouch. It's like pea soup out there.nice work as usual
Divide total valve lift by the 3rd root of the square of the original ratio.how to i figure in 1.6 ratio rockers?
Your way is probably better.. and might actually come out with a real number!I don't know how the new program works for sure. Is there a cam profile option? You could take the lift (which is usually at 1.5) and divide it by 1.5 then take it x 1.6. Example. 500 lift with a 1.5 rocker=
500 divided by 1.5 =333.333 x 1.6 =533.33 I think that's how it works.
Huh? Way smarter than me if that's how it works. LOLDivide total valve lift by the 3rd root of the square of the original ratio.
yep, that worksI don't know how the new program works for sure. Is there a cam profile option? You could take the lift (which is usually at 1.5) and divide it by 1.5 then take it x 1.6. Example. 500 lift with a 1.5 rocker=

Nope! Just the bourbon doing ***-math!Huh? Way smarter than me if that's how it works. LOL
Or you can simply multiply the lift by 1.067 (1.6 divided by 1.5) to get to the same number. You are just increasing lift by the % change in rocker ratio which in this case is +6.7%.I don't know how the new program works for sure. Is there a cam profile option? haha thats even easierOr you can simply multiply the lift by 1.067 (1.6 divided by 1.5) to get to the same number. You are just increasing lift by the % change in rocker ratio which in this case is +6.7%.
I still like my way better... even if it's crap!Or you can simply multiply the lift by 1.067 (1.6 divided by 1.5) to get to the same number. You are just increasing lift by the % change in rocker ratio which in this case is +6.7%.
Agree, and not cause 'chebbie'. Just too much, takes away from the rest of the car.ditch the chebbie hood and then it'll be awesome![]()
yeah that was my thinking as wellAgree, and not cause 'chebbie'. Just too much, takes away from the rest of the car.
Fixed it!Agree, and not JUST cause it's 'chebbie'. Just too much, takes away from the rest of the car.
Still, getting more HP and tq from just rockers is an easy gain...one thing i've learned though, 1.6 vs 1.5 ratio arms really dont give you that much of a gain. looks like 8 hp and 11 ft lbs on my combo and 6 hp and 9 ft lbs on Momsduster's combo
for sure. for a guy like me who needs rockers for my heads anyway, the cost difference isnt much and its worth it, but if one already has good rockers that are 1.5, its not worth it. cost vs benefitsStill, getting more HP and tq from just rockers is an easy gain...
good luck with that!Ok, the fog just disappeared...because it's raining buckets now!
Figures I left my travel coffee cup and umbrella in the car when I came in after work. I hope it slows down enough that I can go get the cup for morning without getting soaked doing it...
Surely you have a 'backup' coffee cup? That is far too important! I usually forget one at work at least once a week. LolOk, the fog just disappeared...because it's raining buckets now!

I have several, but this one is the best and never dribbles or leaves a spot on my shirt. Normally I wouldn't care, but I have an early meeting with the CEO and I hate having to clean a spot off my shirt and trying to get it to dry before a meeting like that...LOL!Surely you have a 'backup' coffee cup? I just draw a lot...like this...3700 pages...... dang you guys talk alot
