Stop in for a cup of coffee

Any one have a parts cleaner? Thinking about getting one. Are the water based degreasers any good in them?
they work ok. may have to scrub a little bit harder or longer than solvents but they work

This is the first set I saw. Looks like I will have to take some of the forward lower lip off to prevent tire rub, any chance you noticed it on the others? New universe for me here.
what rims are you running? You may check with Kegan, I know he's running 15s on his scamp as well, he sent me pics a while back, i'll see if i can find them, they were awful close to that forward lip as well. But he got away with it.

15's from a diplomat, 265-70 tires that are tight on the front also. Biggest I could fit without mods.

Thanks just getting sick of the spray, scrub and rinse off method. Just a PIA sometimes.
I have this old stainless steel washer I "got" from here - it's not a real parts washer though - at first I poured some regular parts cleaner in it - now when I use it I simply drown the part then use carb cleaner and either a wire brush or some scotch-brite

Lower front of the skirt on both side I can prob get away just taking the flange mostly off, think of the lip on a fender well. I also have a bit of filler work to do there is a decent gap I need to fill from the qp patch that was under the moulding . Hell gives me a reason to re paint it I never liked the way the paint looked, good at 20' feet.

HF has a 20 gallon on sale now and I have a 20 off coupon so might buy it for xmas. Found a degreaser at Tractor supply that works great better than purple power and it foams up on the grease when it is present, will find a pic of it.

I just buy a case of carb cleaner

well - there goes the "soot look"
No that will stay in theme for it. So I get some bling, now it is a paint job and might as well do it right and pull the motor and do the bay and the other hood at the same time. So much for almost done!

I like Zep purple cleaner.
For heavy degreasing 'parts washer style' I use mineral spirits in a black plastic masonry mixing tub. Just pour the solvent back in can and wipe out the tub when not in use.
