Stop in for a cup of coffee

I try and behave when you pop in

I am not pointing fingers, but this is the truth - People see all the posts, everyone's, not just the ones made when they pop in for a visit.

There are several lady members here, & some rather young kids also.

Glad you mentioned it.

I am kinda off topic these days with my new love of model railroading stuff LOL

i got into that for a brief time a few years back, can be very expensive. My brother in law spent 1800 on one HO locomotive...... I think I had about 700 in my little 4x8 set up i was working on before I gave it up. My uncle has a HUGE set up using O scale and even some G scale stuff.

People who get into brass, really get into the money.

I will never get that involved. I am more into the plastic cheap stuff that was around when I was a kid in the early 2000s

I was into them when I was younger as my dad worked on them his whole life, PRR, Conrail, and as an old man Amtrack. I have one of his old PRR gas lanterns sits here as a decoration. My bro ended up with the trains sets:( And I don't know how many times I rode the engines as a kid from Penn central to Philly for a cheese steak with him.

Model railroading is yet another hobby that I really don't belong in because I never see other girls into it, ....it's mostly older men.

But until they print on the box that is not for me or make it illegal for me, I am getting into it and I don't care how many weird looks I get.

There is a local "old man" get together that I popped in on......they were all like "is your father a rail fan" .....I'm like.....no, it's just me
