When you come to PA to visit, you should meet my pal Ann. She has a huge RR set up in her basement.

I was into them when I was younger as my dad worked on them his whole life, PRR, Conrail, and as an old man Amtrack. I have one of his old PRR gas lanterns sits here as a decoration. My bro ended up with the trains sets:(
my great grand dad worked on the B&O...... man did that cause fights during monopoly games, still does even to this day.

his looks like this but he ordered his from some company in Germany and it was EXPENSIVE has sounds, opening doors, wireless controlled couplers.

Bachmann - EMD DDA40X Centennial w/Sound & DCC - Union Pacific #6900 (Armour Yellow, gray) - 160-65101
There is a real DD40 in Wyoming....I have been wanting to see it since I was younger but I dont know if it is still for public view.

DD 40s have an interesting history.

They were supposed to take the place of 2 units but proved to be too big to be practical

Tell me about it Dad would be all about horsetrading/conning me out of the railroads:rofl:
shoot, if i had a penny for everytime a monopoly board was flipped or thrown or fists were thrown when someone else would buy that B&O, I'd be able to afford to buy out Trump :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

yeah that tends to happen, bigger isn't always better. If I recall right, i think there was only like 4 built, all to Union Pacific.

I have my Dad's old O-gauge Lionel Jr 1681 set that his father bought for him the year he was born...1936.

Here's the engine...

Great Grampa on my mothers side worked for one of the Canadian lines CNR or maybe CP? I'll have to ask mom. This signal lantern was his;

@halifaxhops That car you are looking at is a '65 Dodge Custom 880. The high body side molding and dash give it away. The emblem on the glove box is for the Custom 880.

The Monaco, 880 and Polara were of the same line that year. The main differences were in trim and options. Tail panel, side molding, badging and rear bumpers were among the differences.

That 880 also seems to have some high-end options too. AC, Optional 3 spoke steering wheel and power windows.
