Stop in for a cup of coffee

Good morning, I would like to see a 1 or 2 ad limit per page. Instead of the same seller having 10 ads on one page 1 or 2 ads on 10 pages. Just a thought.

Good morning

an auspicious day is upon me.....the day I get the Polara moved.

I never thought in a million years I would ever have another C-body and be excited about it.

I was out where it's at last night sitting in the car .....its huge!!!

I am going to need a booster seat and pedal extensions LOL

A big car like that with factory buckets and console is so bad ***

now it needs a hemi

the more I look at it and sit in it and sniff it ....the more it's basically an over sized Satellite to me

I had a 66 Satellite long time ago and this really feels like the same car except a bit bigger.

what is cool about my polara with is I found out last night that I had seen the same car when I was a teenager and didn't even realize it's the same car

Back in 2002, there was a thrifty nickel ad for a 66 Polara 500 with bucket seats and console and some other cars. So I went with my adoptive dad to check it out....this is back when I didn't even know anything about cars

What stuck out to me is the seller was saying it was a father / son project and his father passed so it really hurt him to let it go, as they had built the engine together right before he passed.

The car was too much money and my dad said no after we had visited with the guy for a few hours. I faded into the background mostly while they talked like I usually do.

So the car sold and went to another cat that I know and he had plans to fix it with his son. I knew where it was but I didn't really keep up with it

So around 2011 I ran into the guy who had it and he told me the car was sold again because his son had passed and he was sure the guy who bought it from him used it as a derby car. So I pretty much figured it dead.

when I ran into this car, I remembered the one I saw as a teen and I wondered how many are really around with buckets and console .....then it dawned on me and confirmed by the registrations in the glove box that this is in fact the same car I had seen when I was a pup
