hey mike, need your opinion..

I currently have an 8.75 A body axles and housing. I was planning on using it, however, since I've decided to cut and flare the rear quarters, I'm thinking of getting a 68-70 B body 8.75 and putting it under the car, thus widening my rear track width to better match that of the front. Thoughts?

seems like good thinking.. though I would think the difference isn't so much that you couldn't simply use an A body rear and run wider wheels and tires instead

Sounds right. Don't most need deep backspace on the wheels to bring them in for wide tires in tubs? If he's flaring out thats less inside and should be fine with the A axle.

yea - and adding wider rear wheels and tires will give the look he's looking for too IMO
