Well then, you might want to consider one for the street. They really mellow the idle sound without taking out the healthy rumble. You get better low end power too.

That car is gonna be one sweet cruiser, looks like a great ride!

I don't see a transmission kick-down lever on the throttle...how is that rigged up? Is it attached to the gas pedal linkage?
 
Gotcha. Bet it shifts hard!
again - same set up here - and yea, mine hammers through the gears pretty hard.. there is a learning curve to driving a car that is set up that way - mine currently has a 5k stall TC - get it wrong and it is rough... LOL
