Stop in for a cup of coffee

Just got back from ANC, Downtown DC area. I try to get over there at least once a year. Usually when I take Sue for her Brain Tumor checkup, which was today. My Parents are both there, and some other family members and friends. There were at least three active Military Funerals going, while I was there. I mean, Caisson, Band, Honor Guard,. The whole shabang..

Wow. This may sound morbid and if so I apologize but that's got to be a unique honor having both parents buried at Arlington. Not many can say that. Mad respect.

Thanks Chris.. It is a surreal experience, each time I visit ANC. It's hard to visualize in the pictures, but when you're there, and can see the markers stretching way out into the distance, you get a better perspective. ANC gives you a special pass that allows you to drive though the gates and the facility. I had mine now for 27 years. Before my Mom passed in 04, I would take her there to Dads Grave site, twice a year. D.O.B and D.O.D. or as close as possible. She would not drive through D.C. herself, so I took her there faithfully for 15 years, until she was interned with Dad on that site. Dads death was due to Cancer, Dad was only 56 years old when he passed. The VA determined exposure to Defoliate ( Agent Orange ). Diagnosed in March of 89, passed in Dec., same year. They kept the chemical in the warehouse next to the Barracks. He carried it on C130's, with the 15th SOS , out of Nha Trang. They did rescues in areas sprayed as well. This was one of the reasons, I wanted to visit Nha Trang, when I was in Nam, recently.

Mike take the chokes guys always want them say 5 a shot, the dist kit is not worth a lot unless the buyer wants 100% concourse.

It's actually the same system on all of the Chargers, not just the SRT. It's just that the SRT has the PCM that allows the 3 level control. You can get the harnesses and all of the parts out of any wrecked Charger and then get a PCM from an SRT.

I know someone who has an extra harness from a wrecked r/t. Just can't put my finger on who it is.

Good evening folks! The new HVAC system is fully installed and I even had enough time after they were done to finally get this checked off my list for the weekend...

Coffee this time of day in the comfort of my own home, a great pleasure. Took the Fury for an oil change, funny how the young people have never seen an old odometer, they entered 467,*** on the form as my mileage. While I was checking the fluids earlier I got pretty upset seeing the sloppy work of the guy who installed my carb. From now on I will be sure to check things (I was just so excited to go for a drive after they had the car for three weeks!) Well the whole air cleaner is not seated firmly, it wobbles, the threaded rod for the wing nut that holds down the lid barely has threads cut into it, so you can't tighten it down, the nut just spins, wtf? Also I found one of the plastic wire looms just sitting at the base of my windshield...I'd like to keep all those hard to find original pieces on my car!! Anyway it is not something to ruin my day, I'd like to see Mr. Davis about it but he's never at the shop these days... I'll figure it out myself.

ugghhh ...got a HF engine stand ....mega deal Easter coupon

the square stock is not square so when you tighten the bottom bolt to attach the vertical part to the horizontal part ....it pops a wheelie on one of the front wheels when fully tightened

I remember there was a time when you would never even think a piece of hardware you bought would be defective...

Wheelies? I like wheelies!

Put a big block on it. It'll sit down...

The problem is Chinese junk steel. I'd take it back

Evening, I have a geared head stand. Works well but a bit inconvenient because the head doesn't separate from the gearbox. You must use a cherry picker to mount it. Great for assembly though. The front wheels are also narrow enough to get in between the cherry picker legs.
