nice!Yeah, it's pretty neat for a 250 amp welder.
It's an Italian CEA 250 HF start TIG welder I picked up last night for $500. A new one costs more like $3,000.

Thanks @goldfish65 David.. I have been teaching them some English, so that they can improve their lives. Also, all of the Western Medicine was removed by the Communists in 1975. I found out what some of the family ailments are, and bought a bunch of over the counter meds. Mailed to them, along with some coloring books and crayons for the children. I will see them in Nov. when I return to Nam.Good morning, stepped outside and surprise, its misty and a little chilly. @MOPARMITCH I am happy you found a VN family. IMO we gain some new (old?) qualities of humanity when we get away from our confines.

Very much appreciated by them. One idea, when you go, take a bag of perfume/cologne samples. When I used to go to Costa Rica, they were a big hit. It is fun to figure out what you can bring that is useful to them. Thanks @goldfish65 David.. I have been teaching them some English, so that they can improve their lives. I'm gonna try the whole route, or at least as much of it that is passable by car, I understand there's a portion in New Mexico that is 4x4 only.We have a route 66 cruise every year here in San Bernardino.
