Stop in for a cup of coffee

I had a guy on the E Body site that was interested in what I had. Sent pics and prices. Said he wanted the parts, with the famous I'll get right back to you. Then nothing.

I got an extra spot this year. I saw 1 space across the aisle from me, so I took it. Figure I'll park my Truck on it to make more space on my 2.

I thought I read something about them not allowing that anymore at the fall show. Guys were bitchin about it.

Well so much for getting up early and listing the rest of those points, prob be back and forth here while I do it.

Well, the power is back on now. Just in time for bed. I wasn't worried about being without it overnight, but it's supposed to be a high of 87 tomorrow and I wasn't looking forward to not having AC for that.

Now I can go to sleep and not worry about it. :)

Nice.... we're still out. That storm did a number on the lines

Well good afternoon, old farts! And Chris and Rani if you're still here.

Just came back from the town center where there is a big event. The annual cross-country run. Multiple classes and our youngest wanted to join her friend and run the mini-class, pretty much a lap around the town square that they start every fifteen minutes. They took off like there was a fire and finished third and fourth!

Then we had super good burgers from the local butcher and an ice cream. Now I*m heading out to fix a broken front coil spring on the A4. Did the other one last year I think so I knew it was coming and ordered both while I was at it.

My Pastors Son, called me last week, with a car problem. 94 Honda Civic. Said his brakes were going halfway to the floor. He said he thought he had a ruptured line. I told him to bring over slowly one day and I'd look at it. Didn't hear from him until yesterday. He called me around 1pm and said he couldn't get the hood open to check the brake fluid. Release handle frozen tight. He says he's gonna drive it over so I can get the hood open, and check for ruptured lines. Never saw him. 5pm, I go in for dinner. 7pm his Wife text's me and says, the brakes failed completely on him , on his way here. Apparently he drove off the road to avoid road workers in an asphalt construction zone, near my place. Dead center into a tree, Totaled the car. Wife says , he's at Shock Trauma, with a broken sternum, 7 broken ribs and a bruised lung.. He's still in the Hospital, but doing better. Great guy too, been on a few Mission Trips with me to Africa. Y'all Pray for his healing !!!

Poor kid couldn't afford a tow. I've been there! Praying for him now.

I didn't get the "good afternoon" part until I saw where you were from. It's 6:53am here lol. Hey you ever get over to Orlando, Florida hit me up and I will show you some MoPars. We have a BUNCH here.

Have a gen?
Yeah. 3 actually. My brothers gonna bring the diesel pto one up for me from the farm since I had to scoot out this am. It'll power the entire house no problem. Ain't the first time we've been thru something like this. Glad it's the spring time and not mid July or mid January like the last two major length outages.
