Yeah, it would be done already. The umbrella is about 8" too tall due to the base design so I will need to modify that next. The base has a long bolt that runs up through the middle because it was designed for an umbrella with a hollow tube base...but the one we bought has a sealed end. I need to find one of my 2" pipe cutters (buried in the basement somewhere) and cut the bottom end of the base pole off.

I have a patio that I decorate with Christmas lights for the summer, I like to get my friends over and get the burgers grillin ........very nice times
its a mess in this pic, being set up for the summer ...normally I wouldn't have a battery charger and misc. car parts laying around during a party

Nice! I like the lights. Our new umbrella has solar LED lights built in but they are a bit too bright. Another thing on my list to modify. I'm going to buy some dark brown/amber filter film to put over each LED to tone it down. They are also very white and not warm like the manufacturer pic shows them to be...

For being so far away, we have the same weather patterns and similar temps.
Seems like it gets a bit hotter there because i have not seen greater than 104 but on the flip i think it gets colder here in the winter because you don't seem to get -20
But kinda weird that is 80s now with rain
