Yup it is for checking the Vac advance when it is running also for diaphragm leaks.
Man just listed those sun cards, they wont last to long, in boxes are filling up!

What kind of pumps are they? Diaphragm with a check valve?
The pump has two arms on it that had leather cups that go back and forth in a tube and the leather is gone, nothing available to relace it (1940's) Goung to try some rubber material punched to the same size and rivet it on the arms, should work.

Looked already they were like a leather cup. I was talking to Mark, the guy that rebuilds the dist machines and he cannot get them either. If it works out I will hook him up good guy.

Leather is a wonderful thing. I replaced a rubber cup in a mosquito fogger with leather.
Punched a piece out of the cuff from my welding glove. Any time i trip over odd things like a chunk of leather, graphite pump packing i squirrel it away. Then i promptly forget where i hide it...

I have s square of rubber I tried on one side it is holding, do the other side and if it builds up over 17 in I am a happy man.
