Mine spent the summer in Massachusetts with a friend (who has actually made some progress with her) Not sure if she is moving back to what was my Dads trailer, or selling it and staying up there. A while back I told her I would be there to work on a floor and needed some stuff cleared. Got there and nothing done. So I did nothing. Haven't done anything there since and probably won't at this point.

Grounding the O/W pair on the drop helps shield the DSL pair. Use B/W pair to modem.

Hope I'm not wasting time on this...
I knew I was not on a very fast service, but figured I could upgrade. Turns out my current available is "1.1-3Mbps" and I am already getting over 2. That is the fastest speed offered where I'm at without going to Comcast cable. It's actually not bad when it works, but has not been consistent. Hopefully the new wiring will improve that.

Yep,
Been workin the job every day (evening) including yesterday. So have not actually run wires yet. Got cable and crimper yesterday before work. Will get at it here in a bit. Tim said he could send me a filter. I can wire it up now though and add that later.
