Stop in for a cup of coffee

I have a 1/4 inch drive Roybi and it has been a good tool. Just for small stuff but works well.

The main reason I went with it was the batts are lifetime also, tell you what that Milwaukie drill Keefer has is a beast also.

Ridged has the same deal at HD and it is all guaranteed for life that's the one I got drill, driver, two batts and a free 1/2 impact gun, love them so far.
yeah, i looked at those too. definitely a consideration

To bad they do not make the drill with a 1/2" chuck, I used large bits quite a bit and buy the ones the shanks are turned down to 3/8.

RIDGID 18-Volt Gen5X Lithium-Ion Cordless Brushless Hammer Drill and Impact Driver Combo Kit with (2) 4.0Ah Batteries-R9205 - The Home Depot

Nice stuff. The impact is a driver and uses 1/4" hex bits. There are adapters available for sockets but there's the weak link in the chain. 1/4" hex adapted up to 3/8 or 1/2" The tool is usually stronger than the adapters and they break frequently. They are ok for small fasteners, dash work, Torx screws and the like. They don't like things like lug nuts, suspension, rusty bolts etc. If you want a good impact, find one with a square anvil already made for sockets.[/QUOTE]
