Stop in for a cup of coffee

Makes the cut grass fall back from the standing so when you make the second trip you don't have cut grass clogging up the cutter.

wow that guy with the sun site has a lot of cool sun stuff, think he is a collector though.

I'd just pull the plugs, spray WD40 in the cylinders and wait until Spring to try to turn it. No reason to try cranking and bust a ring now. I also think that engine has solid lifters which means some of the valves have been open and rusting. I wouldn't try to turn it until I took it apart and inspected everything. 5 minutes of running and you will burn those valves unless they are lapped in first.

10+ years of sitting and I would take it really slow so as not to do damage uneccesarily.

She's an old lady who has been sitting a long time...don't try to make her run without a full check out first.

That's the plan. Though I may use the atf/kerosene mix instead of the wd40. It seems to be a better penetrating solution for things like that.

Yes, definitely get some lube in cylinders. I'm just thinking if it turns without too much effort by hand - bring it around once or twice to run the lube over the cylinder walls. Repeat the process a couple times a year until the Dart is done or the dinosaurs come back and take over the planet.:D

Yeah yeah

How many times have I told myself that.

There's only one other car I'd like to bring home and chances of me finding one are 1:1,000,000 that I can afford

He needs to add "this year"
yeah

I found out something new this morning looking around for another 1/8" punch, they make special "roll pin" punches, never knew that.

Truck is fine, they have a loader also, you have to see the kid he is a trip 10 YO and can drive everything there!

I thought maybe it was just my computer. I seem to be having issues with other sites

Old school. I bought a tractor off of them many years ago. I was working the fields at 10 and was driving the vehicles when I had to look out under the steering wheel and could barely reach the pedals. Maybe that is why I am so critical of the millenials

I have just been using a regular punch, I can see why sometimes starting the pin is a PIA, might order a 1/32 one also for the pins on the reluctors, they can be a real pia.

I think that is Chris's problem A millennial brought up old school and he is confused. I would put a laughing omicron in here but they are gone.....so when did you start with running the equipment Chris?

Once you use one, you'll never go back to using a regular punch for installs or for pins you want to reuse

You know you may not be far off from that. Though I'm not part of the millennials, course that depends on who's standards you use. Some say post 1991, others it's 1984- 2000, others have it starting as far back as 1978.

I'm assuming you mean farm equipment. I started driving tractors at the age of 6, before that, I started hooking wagons up at the age of 3. Was on the hay wagons baking hay the following year.
