Another slick tip, if you pay for it out of pocket, the income if you collect is non taxable income. If it's paid for by or through an employer sponsored program it becomes taxable. Hers is taxed also , as it was part of her employee package. When she was disabled from brain tumors, it kicked in...17 yrs ago....Mine came out pre tax dollars and did not have to pay tax on it or report it as income. Best thing I ever did.

Not the automatic one, this you have to pay for it out of pocket. The guard offered AIG in NY, CA, and PA. You would know if you have it you had to fill out a application and a form for direct withdrawl. You pay every month for it. If you get out of the guard it still has to be paid for monthly.Yep.
