Good morning, it's 24 degrees and sleet and snow is falling , 15 to 20 mph winds.. It's a cold Mother plucker here Ray :BangHead:
Raining here. Nice to rinse the salt off. Everything was turning white around here.
it was 64 degrees yesterday :wtf:
Was near 60 when I came home from work. Ran the car through a wash
At the docs the other day.
Everyone in the place is cough sneeze .
I only had to go in for bloodwork. Hope I didn't catch anything.
Incubator for disease. Stay away!
Then I'm a hell of a lot stronger than I thought

Train them not to eat gross things.
lol Mitch's dog is super cool and laidback.
But I get the idea he would kick *** on Mitch's command.
Not a senior yet, but I have noticed my feet are farther away some mornings when I go to put my socks on. LOL

Good Morning

Tomorrow we go ashore in san juan. Go on walkabout. Wife is harpin about some butterfly jewelery.
Was there before, and wants more.

Yeah apparently. Why can't i lose weight?
Well, the tree dried out after it died. So, probably not the best weight loss plan.
I lost a good bit last year, but... Between being off work last summer and the recent holidays
gained most of it back.
Just started at it again. Gonna up the game a little each week. This week I cut out alcohol during the week -and I work Saturday. Next week, I'm thinking cut out or extreme limitations on snacks, especially after work at night...

yep.

I decided to make changes over a few weeks this time, mostly because I am on second shift. I am trying to make some things 'daily habits' but it's an even bigger challenge having just changed my entire schedule.
In some ways I could actually be easier. I don't usually stay up long (maybe an hour) after work. Most of my available 'lounge time' is in the morning before work. So, beer and chips is not an option, lol.

@Tooljunkie if you are somewhat adventurous about local dishes, try Mofongo. It is a little hard to describe but so good. They pound fried green plantain, garlic and bits of pork into the shape of a bowl, and fill it with stewed meat, chicken, fish, or shrimp, etc. El Jibarito is a good place to get it, along with other real-deal Puerto Rican food, it is not touristy but it is easy to walk to.

Damn, I could go for some Mofongo, but it doesn't taste the same anywhere that I have tried.

That sounds a lot different than the Mofongo I had. It more resembled a lump of mashed potatoes, but with pork and other stuff in it, smothered in gravy. That was from a restaurant in Lancaster PA. I had a Puerto Rican guy working for me at the time and he considered their food to be 'the real thing'.

well im gonna get ready to drive back home. took over 2 hours this morning and that was with half as much Ice and 4 inches less of snow. I'll see you all about 9pm tonight

That sounds like some Mo-Fo-Go I experienced.....
