Grundy has treated me great the first year I had a engine fire on the 440, they paid out 2500 to fix it. Good coverage 10K on the car, 3K on parts towing etc better than my drivers and way cheap3r for example my wife's firebird (I hat this car) was 700 a year went through them since now it is a classic, just about the same coverage on my car for 147 a year!

Here in pa we can get antique plates for around 150 you do it once no more registration or inspections pretty much pays for itself in a year.

Not sure if Ohio does that or not, I already put the plates on her for this year.

I have the regular plate right now just have to get to DMV and do it. One of those things, kept me from taking it to Carlisle last year because the inspection was overdue and my mechanic could not get to it before the event.

Ohio no longer does mandatory yearly inspections. And this year is the first year in ages that I have seen the random inspection guys out and about.

lol... no it was more for stopping ya along the highway... check all the lights, brakes, horn, and make sure no body parts were falling off from rust.

Up here classic car insurance comes with rules. Appraisal,limited usage and no nighttime driving.
Its cheaper, but the nighttime driving thing makes me not want to go that route.

Pretty much the same thing here no appraisal though, For me I have not driven at night in a long time and I really do not see a cop around here giving you crap if your coming home from a event in the dark. Grundy insurance does not have limited use that's why I put it on the wifes car but she rarely drives when her Uber driver (me) is around.
