Stop in for a cup of coffee

Did I see floor pans?
You might have seen a whole bunch of

stuff

I was planning on a 2 hour drive to Des Moines today to visit Lkopaska. (Lon) but the weather radar doesn't look too good. The snow is just a few counties away from him.

I could spin doughnuts in my tool truck!

I have an uncle from England, he used to say that the double decker busses can do donuts without tipping because their center of gravity is pretty low (since most of it is hollow)....

By looking at them you would not think that...

The thing is, i really like metalwork. I could do this stuff all the time,
Sheet metal is so much more cooperative compared to nuts and bolts and electrical systems.

You can see and feel the problems. And when its done, you see it drive by, you know whats under the paint.....

A lot of guys don't like doing the body work on the old cars. But when you put your heart and soul in a job, it's usually still around for 10-15 years and still looking good. Working on a used car or mom's soccer van doesn't end up that way.

Good morning :) We got coffee. We got sunshine. :) We also got a redi-mix truck and a concrete pump outside the window :wtf:. Payback for all the years I sent mixer trucks into unsuspecting neighborhoods at Dawn30

Man, SCCA's first of the year run off is tomorrow at the old airport near me. Supposed to snow tonight, 8-12 inches. Wanna bet it gets cancelled
SCCA events are held year 'round. Depending on the event it may be cancelled. Event name or link?

I'm a nuts and bolts guy... I can build my own engines and suspensions...

I wanted my brother to teach me bodywork, but he was too busy...

How about you do the bodies and I'll take care of the drive train and suspension??? We could make a great team and cool cars...
