Just solid lifters....From what I remember...
I guess I could measure them tonight. I have a 318 LA lifter set sitting on the shelf too. Just pull one out quick from one of the Poly's

Yeh, high on price, but if it runs good where its at, might be easier to sell, Once they are pulled I agree the value is core at best cause you can't prove it's good. I could see that happening for maybe half the money.
‘65 /6,trans driveshaft and 7-14” for 400. So yes,half the money.

correct. but the main thing is if the bore size if the same and the length is the same, then i should be able to use the aftermarket solid lifters from an LA.
And the oil ring, not the correct name for it. Where the oil passage intersects the lifter.

Been driving too long with the busted connector tab. It made it to the top of the to do list yesterday. Unfortunately the replacement didn't have a new foam seal it. Will call around to see if Evans or someone sells them. Looks and feels like soft styrofoam

here is what I have. doesn't look quite right and you prob have same junky foam in the other connectors. You are welcome to it, but I am sure DMT has the right one and probably under $10... These were extra in full body gasket set. So I would guess I already used the exact correct ones that you need.

hmmm here's a pic supposedly of a poly lifter. I know that's different than the LA's I have

Egge Valve Lifter
It is known as a dumb bell lifter. The same as a original 273 lifter.

They look like ones I took out of my 65 poly 318. It appears they are replacement lifters for /6 and 273's and probably poly 318's too.

Nice!!. for 3 bucks a piece, that's a good deal too. 48 bucks total. sure beats 224

they do. Toolman found them for me 3.03 a piece
I Started there and looked them up by application but no dice. When I found the part number I wnt back and typed that in search and they came up. I bet those are the same as the HP273 lifters If I remember correctly.

According to the cam company, they said they usually get requests to custom grind cams as hydraulic cams for the polys.
