So what lifter does the cam company suggest for there camshafts?

if we go with a mechanical grind, the ones TMM found. if we go hydraulic, thats where the custom 14 per lifter comes in.

Well if the solid lifters are the same, which they are, then for sure you can find a set of off the shelf Hyd. for it as well.

most likely. I kind of like the sound of the solids, don't mind adjusting valve lash and such.

Oh I agree, I try to have something different from all the other classics out there. I don't want a car that when you go to a cruise, or show there are five others that look like yours.

The woman gives me crap about 'different'.. I got a 3 cylinder Yamaha, a notchback Cuda, a Dart Sport and an IH Scout... An odd assortment of 'not seen everyday'..
