Stop in for a cup of coffee

Lol, when I hear lacquer I immediately think nitro cellulose Ditzler or Dupont's Lucite paint. It's just an interesting play of a word applied to food is why it struck me.
Tofu would probably keep better painted with that stuff...and maybe taste better too...

Goodevening ladies and gentleman.
Still not feelin like doing any work. Cleaned shop a little.
Buddy showed up and pulled rad from his old ranger, and it wont fit the newer one. At all. Discovered after pulling the leaker.
Another pos ford sitting in the shop.
Ford day tomorrow.

I see the retired plow truck showed up. Parting it out, scrapping the rest. Replacing my plow with a power angle model.

Sparky discovered the joy of sand warmed by the Spring sun at the park today...

Looks like we are supposed to get 1-3” of snow early tomorrow. The good news is that it is going up to nearly 50* so whatever accumulates will be gone by late afternoon. It’s going to be above freezing when it falls so unlikely any will stick to the paved surfaces.

I think this is Winter’s last dying gasp. Spring sun has arrived and is far too strong to be denied.

Same crap here. Now I see they have snow showers in the forecast for next weekend as well. :BangHead: And then a week of showers on and off to rinse everything. Shouldn't see salt after that till next winter.

Happy Easter fellers

What's going in here today.

I was just looking at electronic ignition kits and I am finding that most only give you like 2 feet of wire to the dizzy...... that is not enough for a slant or BB if you mount the ecu in the factory location, over by the washer bottle. .....
I don't know why so stingy with the wire when average install will need double that, maybe more

You gotta buy some extra wire and solder it to get the proper length...

its hard to find wire in the exact color combo .....I don't like the idear of multiple colors. I don't so much mind a splice but when its starts black on one end and ends up purple with polka dots on the other end of a different gauge....that bugs me LOL

But, but, I still have a gallon of mixed two stroke gas for the snowblower.... :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead:

One more good snow and I can burn up the gas clearing mine and the neighbor's driveways, and earn a few bucks while I'm at it....

I match the factory main color and then if it needs a "tracer" I try to paint the stripe on with a colored paint pen to try to keep it as close to the factory theme... If I don't have the proper paint pen color for the tracer, I just compromise with the proper 'base' color....

I'm OCD on trying to keep the factory wire color also.... :realcrazy:

When I was racing 2 stroke go karts :steering: Whatever premix I had leftover I ran through the Toyota 4x4 pickup  Of course the Cadillac converter was leaned up against the garage wall to be saved for the time Ca had smog sniffers in place

I have a gas powered chain saw. Use it a few hours a year. The mo- fo needs work more hours than it is used. A electric would work great for me. I am looking at a cordless pole saw for those occasional branches out of reach. All my yard tools I switched to Works Lithium. I liked them so much that I bought a blower and string trimmer for the kid's house.

about 8:15 PDT .. splashed down in the south Pacific
Thatz good. With 3/4 of the earth's surface being water a good chance it would take a drink in the ocean. There is so much junk up there. The space salvage guys will haul it back for recycling soon. Like on Star Wars movies.
