He was making a part for one of his machines... I think it was the angle notcher...
2x1/4” angle iron.
The notcher had stripped threads, so i made a plug and gave it a try.
Tool was saved from the scrap bin.

Nice morning.
Got just over 1/2 the metal cut for the second side of the pole barn. It was stacked backwards
So i piled it on the forkift and spun it around. Its a challenge, raise up to 12’ and zig zag until its the right way. No room at floor height to spin an 18 foot sheet.
Today, finish up ranger and a service.
Not a real hard day. I hope. Ranger needs a rear shackle.

Last cool day here, 78, and then August returns. Lower 90's so not AS bad as it has been since May.
Car show this weekend, first one in a couple weeks. Going to two over the Labor Day weekend.
Shows run here until 3 November, then off a couple months before the inside season starts.

A few weeks ago I was very lucky to find a 67 recall steering wheel. It is a wood grain wheel with three double spokes. They are rare and hard to find. The wheel sat on a closet shelf since 1986 and was in great shape. I sent it to a well known guy in Texas for restoration. Its done and in the mail. I hope to put it on the car this weekend.

I got a dist to restore in the mail yesterday thought it was a joke, will get a pic in a few.
