You make it sound easy! Buy low, sell high.
Tying up money and space, knowing where it is, etc..
Sure it was easy, I had 40 employees, Send a few to get the stuff back to the store, have a few in each store changing over part numbers , if necessary, put it on the shelves, and enjoy the profit, And the stuff that was old or obsolete, I sent back to my regular WD's for full credit...No Brainer...

I can keep my eyes open for a set give me the application and do you have the electric tailgate?

Matt, On those AMC keys The round ones are all the same, here, Curtis #RA3, The square ones I have are 2 different numbers Curtis #RA4 and RA5
Thanks Mitch. Do you want to post or email a picture of the blanks? maybe its obvious? Im sure we can figure out a cross ref on the square ones. Taylor P1098A

The ones for the barracuda are so worn down. Not sure what would be the right blank, especially for the door. keyways look different to me.

anyone know of a place that can restore a regular steering wheel? the polara's is cracked and missing pieces but the stainless center is in great shape and I'd like to keep it.

Interesting. IIRC the III supposedly adjusts dwell for rpm and maybe even self compensates for slew rate.
He is running a Fitech on it, really weird curve all mech, hits 14 @2k then 34 all in @4900. That was really interesting to make work. See how it is locked out? Pic is bad but a screw in the vac advance arm hole into the main plate drilled and tapped. He should be happy with it. I never did anything even close to that before.

I was looking at Mikes but he does mostly Corvette stuff. Eastwood has kits. If it's a regular wheel there are pretty easy from what I understand.

Figuring out which key blank will work turns out to be a little complicated.
Probably worth talking to him and tell him whether you need to be original looking or just functional.
I figured he would have some answers. Dude is like the Mopar Keymaster. LOL

Good Morning All. (Even Hoppy :poke:)

Who would of thought there was so much to get a key made properly!
There in lies the problem. It got to the point at my store, that I had to do them , because, the employees could never get the original key , and the blank, set up right in the machine. Always had wrong cut keys. I finally took the machine out of the front of the store. Todays key machines are (mostly) Idiot proof..
