Stop in for a cup of coffee

Tonight is the whisky tasting club meeting. We are sampling Chinese whiskies. One of the guys is raffling off a higher end bottle of American distilled. He won't tell us what it is but he said it's top shelf and not available here in Iowa. Should be fun.

well it looks like I am not the only cook around here, thank for backing me up ! When it comes to a boil, stir for 5 minutes.....5 minutes is a long time
I did mine in the crock pot on low for 1 1/2 hours. Stir and drop on wax paper.

Hey Rani !!! Nuh must ay
Hey hey ..... I didn't reply earlier because I actually got some shop time today. Got a comp day from work because I have too many overtime hours, so I came home and got started in the garage and let time just go.

Spent more time cleaning and picking up than actually working on cool car stuff but it all has to get done.

Fixed a couple flat tires, I had to wrestle one to get the plug to go in. I sat on it and with all my might, stabbed the plug in. Then I lost my balance and fell over with the tire. A little battle scratch but got R did.

Then I started getting a slant six ready for removal from a parts car that is getting scrapped real soon.

Work has been driving me crazy today. I am supposed to be on vacation but they have been bugging me all day anyway. This afternoon, I shut my phone off and ignored them while I did another image for SLO...

Some mighty fine work you do.

Had a sticky plug the other day. Used my hoist as an anchor and a 2x4 for a lever to multiply my weight.

One thing i can say for sure, considering i was sanding filler and blowing dust around, the office is still clean.
Saw you mentioned that yesterday too. What did you do; just pressurize the office a little, or set up an aircurtain, ?

yep. Cleared the workbench when I was at the garage, and then filled it with alternators and alternator parts. Overall, didn't make much of dent on cleaning up and reorganizing, but now have a better idea on what to do with all the alternators.

One step forward, two steps back.

My workbench was clean yesterday morning. Not no more..
Will clean it again tomorrow after pos rolls out.

This song kept running through my head as I did that image...

“Picture yourself in a boat on a river
With tangerine trees and marmalade skies

Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly
A girl with kaleidoscope eyes

Cellophane flowers of yellow and green
Towering over your head

You look for the girl with the sun in her eyes
But she's gone

You follow her down to a bridge by a fountain
Where rocking horse people eat marshmallow pies

Everyone smiles as you drift past the flowers
That grow so incredibly high”
