Stop in for a cup of coffee

The 4.0 in line is a great engine , the V6 is not as good, I would love to have another
Nope. The v6 sucks. Coworker and I have same year, nearly the same mileage on our Jeeps. Two weeks ago, at 148,000 miles his oil pump went out, engine locked up. Mine has 156,000 miles. Earlier this week, I started getting a low oil pressure light. Installed an aftermarket gauge, it drops to between 0-10 psi running down the road sporadically and randomly, same time as the light comes on. Oil level is full. Thinking it’s my oil pump too...

Well, I am thinking it could be your evacuating system (Vacuum hoses) are plugged and letting the oil stay on top and not back to the pan to the pump, seen one do it because it was over filled and plugged things up, may want to make sure all your Vacuum lines are clean .

I remember when I had three. It goes pretty quick.
Then AFTER you retire it really goes quick. I just hit 11 retired a couple weeks ago.
My goal is to get as many years out of them as I put in...30 years.
Can't remember when I had three years to go to retire...Cause I was only 41 at that time......
